Eternal Star Company

IC information

The Eternal Star Company is run by husband and wife, Lledwyn Eno'traeh and Demytrya Eno'traeh. They're known for various business endeavors of the Elysian Springs Spa and through Erudite Designs.We are a collection of adventurers, academics, misfits, and aether enthusiasts. Our stated goal is to locate, secure, study, and catalogue relics and artifacts of a dangerous or magical nature, partly to protect the world from the relics and those who would use them for nefarious ends, and partly because they can be useful and interesting to study.

Current Storylines

Currently, we've several different storylines running in the community. For the longer stories, our discord community has channels set up so that new members or people interested in getting involved can get caught up quickly, so even if you've missed some of the story, you can still participate and enjoy yourself!Revisiting the Past - News has reached Erudition of a jack that's searching for the three Vieran witches. Just who is this man and what is his link to their history? What's his purpose? Does this spell the end?The Erudition Book Club, Part Deux - A mysterious magical book of fae tales that somehow pulls readers into the stories and a promise and bargain made to a fae queen lead the members of Erudition down dark paths that they never expected. What will they find in the stories? When will the tale end and what will be found there?

OOC information

We are a community that has been around for a decade. We started on World of Warcraft and then transferred to Final Fantasy XIV a good number of years ago. We focus on story and roleplay and while we sometimes go out to do dungeons or raids, it's normally for fashion items and less about being a completionist or progression.The basis and background of the Free Company and its story is something akin to SCP meets Harry Potter meets the Librarians meets Warehouse 13. If you catch all of those references and understand them, then we might be a free company that you might fit well with!We are an 18+ adult guild and require our members to all be adults as well.We are a mostly lore-compliant Free Company. We're not going to bother anybody for bending the lore, but outright breaking it might give us pause. An example might be that we're not going to give you a hard time for playing a Xaela who speaks perfectly serviceable Eorzean, or even for playing a character from the First. In a setting where Monster Hunters, FFXV, and Nier: Automata all just casually cross into the world with little or no explanation, there's not much that can outright break lore, so if we express reservations about it, it's usually pretty egregious and probably directly contradicts hard canon.

Inside the Erudite Manor, we have a small tavern and eatery that is run by our famous chef, Maggie! She knows delightful recipes and can prepare the most wonderful and delicious meals. Dine-in, take out, or delivery!

Whether you're searching for a place for a tankard of ale, a bit of food to eat, a game of darts to play in our nearby gaming parlor, or just to listen to music playing upon the stage, Maggie's is the destination!

Shepherd's Pie

This warm and cozy comfort dish starts with sautéed carrots, onions, garlic, and sweet peas which are then combined with minced sautéed mutton, slathered in a Guinness gravy, topped with creamy cheddar and scallion topped mashed popatos.

Aldgoat Strip Steak

Rubbed, seared and grilled to perfection, this strip aldgoat steak is basted in garlic butter and thyme to tantalize the tastebuds of any steak lover. Served to your specification this entree finished off with a side of grilled onions, garlic and mushroom tops and served with a side of bacon cheddar twice baked popotos.

Crofter's Stew

A melt in your mouth tender aldgoat herb-crusted roast simmered to perfection with mushrooms, carrots, onions, popatos, and Ishgardian red wine to create a thick and scrumptiously rich sauce. This hearty and comforting meal is served with rustic pull apart baguettes for dipping.

Bangers & Mash

Succulent ovim sausages nestled on a bed of buttery mashed popatos and drenched in a rich cyclops onion gravy with steamed, buttery sweet peas. Served with a spicy-sweet hot mustard or rolanberry chutney.

Scotch Egg

Soft-boiled eggs wrapped in pork sausage are then rolled in a flaky herb and crumb coating before being deep-fried until golden and crispy. Served with spicy-sweet hot mustard.

Fish & Chips

Deboned haddock or cod filets are slathered in a frothy beer batter before being deep-fried and tossed onto a paper bed with crispy salt sprinkled chips. Served with a fresh lemon wedge and tartar sauce.

Rustic Rolanberry Tart

Need we say more about this decadent, delicious tart with a surprise cream cheese layer? An Erudition Manor favorite.

Thavnarian Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae

Finish off your dinner with this evenings decadent special dessert, the Thavnarian Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae. Cocoa and cardamom bring out all the right flavors of this sweet, topped with hefty dollop of vanilla bean ice cream, whipped cream, before being drizzled with a bourbon chocolate fudge.
